Bass Lake came and went in the blink of an eye this year! We look forward to this week all year long! Hayley was so excited to go hang out with her cousins. The week starts off bright and early as we load the kids up in the cars. Our first stop is Perko's...a diner half way that we've been stopping at for as long as I can remember. Thankfully they have a back room that we take over!
The kids had a blast. They were all perfect! Hayley was on the boat all day long. First thing in the morning she asked to go on the boat. And if she wasn't on the boat she was having stroller races with Braylen, MeMe, and EE. To say she loved the boat is an understatement. And I loved it because that's one of the best places for her to be...she can't go anywhere :) She went on the boob tube and loved it, especially when they would "go fast!" She even tried to ski! It was the very first run and I wasn't on the boat nor was there a camera :( She didn't understand to let go when she fell so the boat dragged her a little ways. The next day we tried again, but she didn't want anything to do with it. Next year is when I force her! At least she wanted to try!
Ainsley was such a joy...during the day! Total nightmare at night! By the end of the week she was up nursing every hour and a half...super fun for me :)

my dad wanted so badly to have the kids take pictures with him. He literally sat on a rock and said, "who wants to take a picture with Poppy?" Hayley and Lauren were the only ones that wanted to.
