10 months

Dear Hayley Paige,

Again, I'm asking myself where the time has gone. You are growing up so quickly and I am just trying to take in every second and enjoy it. What a great month this has been, filled with the most changes thus far.

The biggest accomplishment this month is that you have started to crawl. Our life as we know it is over...you are everywhere! You decided to give mommy and daddy this present on Christmas Day. I think you were just tired of your cousins doing laps around you, stealing your toys and taking off. We now can find you anywhere in the house at any given moment. You are loving to explore your home and find it much cooler than your toys.

You also started saying Ma Ma this month, which makes me the happiest mommy in the world! You still prefer to say Da Da, but mix in a Ma Ma every once in awhile to make me happy:) You still love to clap and cheer, especially with daddy while he's watching football. You also starting waving and giving kisses. Sometimes I have to remind myself you aren't a dog and stop trying to "teach you new tricks".

Your favorite toy is probably your doggy, Fluffy. Mommy bought it for you after playing with Lauren and Kaelyn's and you still laugh and smile when she starts to bark. You also love your new ball pit from Auntie Candace. You will just sit in there and play...it's like your own little fort! You look through the windows and smile and push all the balls through the holes on the side. You are more curious about your toys and will actually look at them and try to figure out what they really do instead of just trying to find a good corner to chew!

You are such a good little eater. You prefer to feed yourself and haven't really refused anything. Your favorites still are ham and cheese and your new favorite is cottage cheese. You also decided that you didn't want your cheese stick cut up...you'd much rather have it whole and just go to town on it. If I'm not quick enough you will even eat the plastic wrapper. You've come a long way with your eating and to think that I once was scared that you were going to be a terrible eater.

Your belly-laugh continues to melt our hearts and brings us such joy. You light up when you see daddy and you can just laugh with him for hours. Sundays are your special days with daddy and you will sit on his lap and watch football with him.

You continue to be a perfect little girl. I don't know what we did to deserve you, but we thank God every day for His gift to us. You are such a blessing to our family and we love you more and more each day. Thank you for bringing such joy to our lives and being our little angel. We hope you are enjoying all that life has to give as much as we are enjoying watching you experience it.

love,
mommy
