Robers Family: Halloween

We had a (really) busy Halloween weekend. I think we were in our costumes all weekend going from one party to the next!

On Saturday our community center had a little festival full of crafts, games, face painting, and candy! Hayley had a lot of fun decorating her pumpkin and making a pumpkin frame. We then headed to Abigail's school for a trunk or treat! Such a fun event! The parking lot was filled with decorated cars that the kids could trick or treat at. This might have been Hayley's favorite thing to do. She loved seeing all the people in their costumes. There was one girl dressed as cinderella that Hayley fell in love with! All she wanted to do was find Cinderella. We helped Abigail win "best costume" in the costume contest. She was a fish tank and needed her little octopus to help accessorize! We came home on in a candy coma for a quick little nap before we headed back to our community center for our annual block party! We had a lot of fun and Hayley loved playing and dancing with her friends.

On Sunday we had our annual pumpkin decorating contest! As always it was a lot of fun and there where some really good pumpkins this year! Of course I won!! I win bragging rights for the year...yeah me! We then headed to Boo at the Zoo. Hayley enjoyed seeing all the animals and getting more candy!

Monday we just relaxed! Bill came home early and we hit the streets trick or treating! Hayley quickly got the hang of it and couldn't wait to get to the next house. She especially loved the houses where she could grab as much candy as she wanted! When we got home she was in charge of passing out candy to the remaining trick or treaters. She would get so excited when the door bell rang and jump up to go give them candy!
