Back in February, Bill was contacted by an old acquaintance from Burlington to see if he had any connections for Super Bowl tickets. Bill was able to get him tickets and during his conversations, he said they had a house in Beaver Creek and we could use it anytime we wanted as long as it was open. That's all we needed to hear!! I started planning our trip there for 4th of July weekend. The Bethels and the Porters came up with us! We had such a fun weekend. We walked around Vail, Beaver Creek, and Avon. All are so beautiful. Looking forward to seeing them in the winter too. I'm already looking forward to using my new vacation house this winter!
The community had an awesome 4th of July celebration. The fireworks where lit over Nottingham Lake. They had a huge area that was just for kids and everything was free (I guess a bunch of churches put it on for a safe place for kids and families). There were games, balloon artists, a million bounce houses, face painters, etc. It was a fun night with one of the best fireworks shows I've seen. The girls did GREAT! Hayley loved the fireworks and sat on daddy's lap the entire time. Ainsley liked all the lights flashing :)
checking out all the beds to see what ones they liked the best!
they had a recreation center we were able to use and did nightly swims before dinner
having fun with an underwater camera!
