crush

Hayley has a little crush (if you can even call it that at this age) and it's just too cute. Aiden, the little boy across the street, is so sweet to her and will come over and ask if she can go ride bikes. He takes good care of her and makes sure she doesn't go in the street and if she does cross the street he'll walk with her. The second we turn down our street to come home she'll say "momma I go play with Aiden?"

She loves playing outside and I love that we live on a cul-du-sac so can ride her bike without her leaving the street. We have about 20 kids on our street and Hayley loves that she's big enough to hang with them! Just yesterday the kids had found something melted on the street that was red and they were investigating it and came to see if Hayley wanted to investigate it with them to determine whether or not it was hot lava. She about died and went to heaven looking at this nasty melted red stuff. Oh to be a kid again and the only thing to worry about was whether or not the red melted stuff on the street was hot lava from a volcano :)
