A coworker of mine is pregnant, so we threw her a suprise baby shower today...anything to get a free day off of work! There are 10 girls who work together on our team, so we love to get together and catch up. Of course we invited our boss...someone had to pay for lunch. :)
We had a great time, but most importantly, Danika was VERY surprised!! We told her it was "journal club," which is our monthly meetings where we discuss our medical studies and learn how we should talk to our doctors about the new information. It was pretty funny, because Danika showed up with her work bag all prepared with her study highlighted. Little did she know we had other things in mind. :)
