Bill and I headed to Ohio this weekend to share in a special celebration: his Goddaughter Allyson recieved her 1st Communion. It was such a wonderful weekend filled with love and laughter. This is the first time that I actually experienced a sacrament through the eyes of a child (that actually understood what they were doing). She was so excited to be receiving Communion, but was very scared she would forget what to do or spit out the wine! It was so cute to see all the little girls and boys so dressed-up and excited!
