Jodi, Ed, and the kids were still in town on Monday, so we headed to Dodger Stadium to watch the series with the Mets. We went early to see batting practice and for Eric to catch a fly ball. It was the first time I had ever gone to batting practice and probably the last:) You have to do everything at least once, right?
The highlight of the games, other than being with family and friends, was Wednesday night bobblehead night. Courtney (here it comes for all of you who are fans of "sister stories") is obsessed with going to games on givaway nights so she can turn around and sell the items on ebay. Her and John have season tickets to the Angels and she goes through the schedule to see what games she wants all the tickets to so she can get all 4 givaways. The only reason she came to the game last night was to get the bobble heads! Everybody in the city of LA must have had the same idea because there was twice as many people at last nights game then there were on Mon and Tues. combined! Once we finally got into the stadium we found out they were out of bobbleheads. I thought Courtney's head was going to spin! They told us that they were getting another box in about 5-10 minutes if we wanted to wait. And wait we did...Courtney was not going to let us leave unless we got our bobbleheads.
