My dad is the king of "Dipsy Dumping." For those of you who do not know what that is, it is where my dad and whoever was around to be an accomplice would take the trash and dump it in the dumpster behind Thrifty's. We were always scared we would get caught, but my dad would reassure us that they wouldn't arrest him in front of his kids...that's why he needed us. We are the only family I know that creates as much trash as we do on a weekly basis, therefore this was a necessity. This little act is highly illegal, but quite popular in our home as he continues to do this. He has even rubbed off on JJ where he makes nightly runs in his ranger, and has now spread to me! I have now made Bill an accomplice. We have about 40+ boxes from our move and we had no choice but to "dipsy dump" them. We loaded up the car and went to various new neighborhoods in our area that have dumpsters for the builders and preceded to unload all the while we looked over our shoulders. We made about 3 trips and then Bill started getting scared.

Robers Out!

That's so funny. My husband does the same thing. There is a definite need sometimes. Be careful though, some of those places now have cameras and they will track you down. Hint: cover your license plate number...
Won't the movers come back and get the boxes? When my parents moved, all my mom had to do was call them and they came back and got all of the boxes and the paper stuffing.
you are a hippie tree hugger remember...you should be recycling those boxes in the compost in your yard.
