We took Hayley to her first of many baseball games this past weekend. We have a local minor league team here and their games are so much fun (as most minor league games are), plus they have $0.50 hot dogs. How could we not go? We met up with some friends, ate hot dogs, and drank beers! I do have to say that this game was not very good one to watch. For being only one injury away from the big leagues, these guys didn't play very well. There were 3 balls dropped in the outfield...are they serious? The center fielder totally misplayed a ball...he immediately ran in and then realized that the ball was so far over his head that he just gave up and let the right-fielder get it. Don't they teach you in little league to go back 2-3 steps before you ever run in?
2 Shoutouts!:
Love that you are taking her to baseball games already!!! ;) Hopefully she can go to a Mets game soon too!! ;)
